Are we creatd out of Nothing

19:67 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?"
as i understand the verse in arabic and yr trnslation is counter look:-
"?

أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْئًا ﴿19:67﴾
(19:67) Does not the man remember that We made him at first when he was nothing?

and then we have another verses which says and I quote;

"52:35 Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators? "

here too if you check with arabic it differs to english comparing to the below


أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُونَ ﴿52:35﴾
(52:35) Did they come into being without any creator? Or were they their own creators?

so let us go to agreement which is which to be considered correct, yr quotations or i quoted then well proceed.

Before going in details, let us summarize what we human do things.

Take example a Car

We found all the needs I mean from A to Z to as to make a thing
Called car.
Right!!!! We found the material,

But the verse actually means:-

Allah (Jalajal;aaluhu) He created human while there was not a thing as to make that, because of He is All Knowing, it was given a drop of Knowledge(Il m)

In case of water; in all round He is the Creator and None dare come forward; and if any then let that body produced a proof , without utilizing any substance found in the earth etc.
