    Default Review of Hindus: An Alternative History

    I came across this review of the book 'The Hindus: An Alternative History' and the bcakground political milieu to the understanding of the significance of this book. More importantly and relevantly to muslims, I want to know if you all see a parallel with what is going on in Hinduism and Islam. What sort of parallels or differences, if any, do you see?

    1.4 billion people live under the poverty line - 1.25 USD per day. 20000 Africans die needlessly everyday due to AIDS, malaria and TB. 1.02 billion people do not have enough to eat. 3/4s of this are rural poor farmers who will also bear the brunt of global warming.
