The vigor and stability of our faith depends upon worship and good deeds. Muslims who neglect the religious obligations may end up doing little more than speaking well of certain ancestors who lived a disciplined, religious life. Faith not nourished by worship and good deeds eventually dies.

Muslims who seek God's approval and take the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) as their guide can lead a most fruitful life, one in harmony with their deepest nature as responsive and responsible creatures of God. I find this a little puzzling. The writer seems to be saying that when we get to heaven God will ask Muslims 'were you like Mohammed?" as if we in someway are all the same and not entirely unique human beings. Surely, God will ask are we like ourselves, did we grow to be what God desires for us and us alone. The Christian will Say that Jesus is in us but fully knowing that will free us from our ego and let us truly be who God wants us to be.
