As there are many users on this board asking how to do this and that, I decided to list some frequently asked questions in this thread.
I hope it will be interesting and helpful for everyone who intends to read it.

1. How do I create Links?
   
   Use the following structure: Description
   
   Example: That's my page!
   
   Note: If you post a link without tags (e.g. http://www.mypage.com), the forum will automatically add the tags itself. Don't use the "http://"- or "www." part in the description of your HTML link, or the forum will mess with it. The URL you specified with "href" would be ignored, and instead the description would suddenly become the link.
   In other words don't do that: ww<l>w.mypage.com
   
   Or the forum will do that: <a href="w<l>ww.mypage.com">ww<l>w.mypage.com</a>
   
2. How do I quote users' text?
   
   Well, you have probably already noticed that the quoting feature doesn't work, and I doubt it's gonna be fixed in the future (unless a new and advanced forum is installed). Anyway, here's how you can solve this problem with HTML tags:
   
   <blockquote>...text...</blockquote>
   
   If you wish to format your quoted text in a prettier way, use this:
   
   <blockquote><hr><font size="1">...text...</font><hr></blockquote>
   
3. How do I do colo<u>u</u>rs? (Yes! I spell it the british way )
   
   Use the following structure: <font color="#000000">text</font>
   
   The numbers following the number sign are hexadecimal values. Each basic colour is represented by two digits; the order is red, green and blue. For those who don't know anything about the hexadecimal numeric system, click here.
   
   Examples:
   <pre>
   <font color="#FF0000">Red text</font>: <font color="#FF0000">text...</font>
   <font color="#00FF00">Green text</font>: <font color="#00FF00">text...</font>
   <font color="#0000FF">Blue text</font>: <font color="#0000FF">text...</font>
   <font color="#000000">Black text</font>: <font color="#000000">text...</font>
   <font color="#888888">Grey text</font>: <font color="#888888">text...</font>
   <font color="#FFFFFF">White text</font>: <font color="#FFFFFF">text...</font>

4. How do I make words bold, italic, <u>underlined</u>, <s>struck out</s>...?
   <pre>
   Bold text: text...
   Italic text: text...
   Underlined text: <u>text...</u>
   Struck out text: <s>text...</s>
   Superscript text: ^text...
   Subscript text: _text...
   </pre>
   
5. How do I visually separate my signature from my preceding text?
   
   Sometimes it's not easy for a reader to distinguish between your signature and what you've written. To prevent any possible confusion you could draw a horizontal line before your signature starts.
   Here's how you do that: insert this tag: <hr> at the start of your signature.

Now, if you go to Azad's post you'll see "how do I make words bold...

All you do now is type in the 'b' in the brackets followed by what you want to write in bold and then you close it as shown with the brackets. As a test, you might want to copy everything after "text:" and then you'll see how it works.

The easy think to play with HTMl tags (for those who doesnt know HTML)
1. Open Microsoft Word
2. Type your reply with color , pictures , hyperlinks or wotever you want.
3. SAVE AS.. web page
4. open that HTML file created by word into internet explorer
5. CLick View ---> Source
6. Copy paste all the codes, put into forum's answer text area.
7. now dont forget to pray for me <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>
