Hmm, I'm not quite sure what to think of this "Islam channel".
I've only started watching it a half an hour ago or so, and there is only one thing that really sticks out.
There is something very very wrong with "Islamic rap"
The image-obsessed, bloodthirsty, sensationalistic world outside your window is the real madhouse.

i think the rap artists would say that its a way of reaching out to the youth, and bringing them to the right path.
Personallt i think we need role models and leaders.
salaam to all,
The prophet mohammed pbuh said that there will be a time when intruments other than the tamberine will be made halal - ma-ah-zif. the nearest of my recollection.
Rapping almost always consist of music. What to you guys have to say
Salam,
Where to begin? First and foremost it is simply a matter of personal taste, I loath rap. I like many music styles, from ancient Greek reproductions, to classical to the Blues to electronic, however I loath rap with all my heart. I consider it the most vulgar form of music, only suitable for the lower classes in society, and then only because they lack the education, culture and class to know better.
I would continue but I've been honest enough today.
From a more general perspective I see people calling other Muslims to follow Islam and strengthen their faith, and that's nice. But I have to ask myself, their making a lot of energy but where is it going? Rap may inflame the young with passion for their religion but without the knowledge or wisdom to know where to direct it. On a small tangent this is perhaps why the Qu'ran is the best method for this, while it will draw people with it's passion it also gives good example of what to do with it. It appeals not only to (as rap does) but also to reason. Although it is somewhat unfair to compare the two (what art form looks as good when placed next to the Qu'ran?) it does emphasise my point. Passion without Wisdom and Reason is inefficient.
