my name is, obviously, Vajradhara

well.. i presume it's obvious since that is my screen name that is associated with this very post

hmm... about me... well.. there's lots to tell... so i'll be brief.


general life stuff:

i live in America now, we moved here when i was 14. at the time, we were living in Libya.. a little town along the gulf... interestingly enough, it seems that the good Colonel was somewhat smitten with my mother.. though i'm not aware of anything that happened.

however, we were evacuated once, to London, and they held my mother in Libya for 3 months... she didn't really talk about that time, so who can say?

i have a lovely garden where i grow my vegetables and some herbs that i use in the kitchen. i have a cat named Henry who is really quite the interesting fellow. an aside, in Tibet, black and white cats/dogs are considered good luck... and, of course, Henry is a very black and white cat

religiously...

i'm a Buddhist i have a very strong Taoist stream as well and often combine aspects of the praxis.

is there anything in particular anyone would like to know?

From my nick, you can't really tell, but I am an old geezer from the far north. Scandinavia to be general, and Finland to be specific. I tend to move around a lot, but I haven't lived in Finland, nor my current hometown all my life, anyway. I've lived and worked in various places in Sweden, Germany and Denmark for various periods of my life. For the moment, I'm back in Finland, but who knows? The road is always there..

There's really not that much to tell, I'm quite bland, to tell you the truth, so I guess this'll do.
