It's looks like a desperate attempt to find a manifestation of God's presence when the best one is in front of their eyes, the Qur'an. Besides, gills can assume several configurations on the underside of a sea animal if you consider birth defects. The eye and the mouth all look like gills to me. And one could also ask if the eyes and mouth are so prevalent, where is the nose?
But that's not the end of it. I'm curious to see what their reasoning is for Allah turning a GIRL into a fish for kicking the Qur'an. Girls (and BOYS) are typically immature due to their age and do not have the common sense to openly consider the consequences of their actions. Add this to the fact that Allah did not turn sabbath-violators into monkeys (in 7:163) until after a long succession of disobedience.

well i have to say very fishy?! (sorry cudn't help myself!)
it is realy strange and weird, actually grotesquely weird but i can see girly features such as the lips, eyes and the rib cage (perhaps) but this cud jus be a new species of fish but then again Allah -Alim He knows best

What about the American soldier who flushed it down the toilet? Or is turning into something specific to a certain people.I'm curious to see what their reasoning is for Allah turning a GIRL into a fish for kicking the Qur'an.
The video is of some sort of sea creature, nothing in that video even hints to a girl becoming a fish.
I wish Muslims would stop this nonsense. We believe so much in so many other things we've left little to believe in God. This doesn't strengthen the faith of the intelligent; rather, it strengthens the weaknesses of the intellectually starved.

...this sort of thing i cant say is hoax or reality neither does it strenghten or should it strengthen faith ,,,,its conjecture for now and if it is true then its not a proof for the truth of Islam ...
