    Salaam,

Mehreen reminds me of that quote I brought up earlier in the thread . . .

    1) What do you like most about this forum?

    2) Do you wish Mehreen would post more often?

You stole my first answer. I was going to say, that the question you asked would be the question i hoped noone would ask, but you beat me to it.

Well, I would want it so that God never asked my why i did such and such a bad deed in my ignorance or arrogance. But that is a far away thought i suppose.

The people make the place. So without a doubt, it is the people, the whole community, and especially the people i met when i first came here, Sheik and co, who i love so much.

I hope that everyone posts more often, since i did try to make that point numerous times to no avail.

I would have to say last year. Our community was brilliant, the brothers were all great in our events. I totally loved last year. May Allah bring such happy times again to us all.

First, i would unban Hashim. Secondly, id make Roswell a moderator. Thirdly, the avatar problem needs sorting. And finally, every old member would get the chance to see the moderator's forum ~ for a day or so, to remove the suspense. How's that?

    Salaam, your creamy coolness,

1)How well do you regulate your time? Are you an organised person?

    2) What is the one thing you dislike most about the forums? The admins and moderators not posting often enough?

I am organised yes, and reliable too, alhamdulillah. You can ask my friends in that, if i say ill be there at 11, ill be there at 10.30. As for my room, well it isnt tidy.

I cant really think of much criticism for the forums.

    Salaam,

    JazakAllah Khair for the reply

I hope you don't mind me asking:

In times of adversity and hardhship, what thoughts or actions do you find helps you most?

Also, what helps you to concentrate/focus during Salaat?

    Salaam Osman

Good questions. In times of problems, i do try my best to turn to Allah, but the relief usually comes in the shape of another person, i.e. a friend, brother, companion. It fills me with so much joy to see a Muslim care about his brother more than himself, that it practically lifts me out of the hardship - with my imaan refreshed as well.

Personally, i think there are two ways of concentrating in salaah. Firstly, you will remember Allah well in salaah, if you remember Him well outside of salaah. If you are always thinking about Him then salaah is a concentrated manifestation of that thought. Also, i find that by reciting out loud, it really helps in maintaining concentration. Thinking strongly at the meaning of the ayahs also helps IMHO.

*I'm a new member but I hope I can still ask questions...

What do you hope to achieve in this life and in the next? And why?

If you were asked what the best aspect of Islam was, what would it be? (Worshipping Allaah, Praying five times a day, Fasting, etc.)

    Salaam Aalimah

What do you hope to achieve in this life and in the next?
Typical cliche... pleasure of Allah, inshaAllah.

    And why?
    It is satisfying and rewarding.

If you were asked what the best aspect of Islam was, what would it be?
    The love between one another.

    Mehreen,

The name Hamza comes to mind.

Q: If you are given two choices,
    1. Ugly girl but pious,
    2. Beautiful but not religious at all.
Ah..now I know why Allah permitted polygamy.
