Default Need help on Embryonic development

I'm trying to solve this confusion and it's taking me hours trying to make sence of it x_x

So the order in the Quran in chapter 23:12-14 is:
Sperm drop - alaqah (clot) - mudghah (chewed substance) - bones - dress the bones with flesh.*

Now the alaqah is perfect and I already know the meanings for that word, so that one is fine.

It's mudghah I'm trying to solve. I do know that the word means chewed substance which means that the object looks like it's been chewed on. But In the Quran I'm using on my iPod says fetus lump and on the site:

    http://www.fetalfacts.net/fetal_deve...rimesters.aspx

    It says
the bones begin to develop...After 8 weeks, the embryo is now referred to as a fetus
But how can the bones already be developed before the mudghah (fetus)?*

Its not mudgha, its mudghat which carries the meaning of compressed aggregate. This fits the description of the aggregate of embryonic cells before their differentiation into muscle or bone cells, this is particularly made clear in 22:5"a mudghata complete in make and incomplete".

As to the verse 23:14, it doesnt give any sequence as to the formation of the flesh or muscles during embryonic development so one cannot conclude from this verse if flesh was formed before or after the development of bones. Neither does it say bones were clothed with flesh prior to the formation of the mudghata, so your last question is irrelevant.
The sequence 23:14 gives is that of the covering of the bones with flesh which obviously came after the formation of bones:
Then We made the small drop/nutfa into something that clinges/alaqa, then We made the alaqa into mudghata/compressed lump, then we made in the lump bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh/lahm.

So again, there is no sequence saying 1)the bones were formed 2)then the flesh was formed 3)then the bones were covered with flesh.
    The verse 23:14 says:
    1) nutfa/a small drop made into alaqa/something which clinges
    2) alaqa made into mudghata/lump
    3) bones are formed within the mudghata
    4) these bones are then covered with lahm/flesh
41:53 We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth.

Sorry, but you don't actually find embryology in the Koran. There is no resemblance to the embryonic development processes.

The description found in the Koran in multiple chapters and sentences is one of creation, not natural reproduction. I don't know where the confusion started, but you can't compare a scientific branch of biology with its accurate and precise descriptions to the divine creation by a creator.

What you see on your quoted website is retrofitted pseudo-science and not a miracle at all.
My opinion is that the Koran speaks of the immense power and capabilities of the creator and the divine plan. It is not meant to be taken scientifically, but as signs, signs that show the attributes of your creator and the development of its creation and the ensuing expectations all the way to the end times.
