Let Islam enter within you like the rising sun
filling every inch of you with its effulgent light
slipping smoothly out of a bleak, dismal night
and enfolding its warmth around the bitterness.

Let Islam enter within you like a blossoming flower
beautifying your every way in all its splendour
with its perfume masking the sinful odour
and enveloping its colours around the darkness.
