Default Muslim Brotherhood Warns U.S. Aid Cut May Affect Egypt’s Peace Treaty With Israel

It was only a matter of time.

Since 1979 and the Camp David Accords, Egypt has been a moderately reliable enabler in maintaining the West's preferred Middle Eastern status quo, specifically with regard to Israel. With Egypt being a major force in islamist Middle Eastern politics, relative stability was maintained. The Mubarak regime, whatever else might be said about it, had been faithful to its peace-pact with the Jewish state. With that regime now gone and the Muslim Brotherhood gaining traction, it's not at all difficult to predict how the correlation of forces in the Islamist dominated region will shift, or how Israel might be moved to reposition itself and its forces.

Excepting the Iranian Mullocrats, there may be not be a more Jew haten'ist people on the planet than the Muslim brotherhood. And it's obvious that they are not above a bit of Mafioso style extortion techniques when it comes to strong-arming the U.S. for those sweet infidel welfare dollars.

As usual, when discussing ideologically defined hatreds and the islamist Middle East, it's always about the Jews.

Muslim Brotherhood Warns U.S. Aid Cut May Affect Egypt’s Peace Treaty With Israel

Egyptian students shout anti-military slogans during a protest at Cairo University on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. Egyptian authorities accuse U.S. and other foreign-funded non-governmental organizations of fomenting protests in the country. ( – A top Muslim Brotherhood official has warned that any cuts in U.S. aid to Egypt could affect Cairo’s peace treaty with Israel – the latest sign that Egypt’s emerging political forces intend to call Washington’s bluff over the diplomatic dispute triggered by a crackdown on non-governmental organizations.

Egyptian judges have referred 16 Americans and 27 others linked to NGOs for trial, accusing them of using foreign funds to encourage disruptive protests. Among the targeted NGOs whose assets and funds have been seized are the U.S. government-funded International Republican Institute and National Democratic Institute.

    The silence is deafening.

What an irony this is - the Muslim Bortherhood needs aid from the US, so they can continue their blitz against Israel...but threaten attacks on Israel if the aid doesn't come....! Good one. But these people are not real Muslims, are they? Perhaps they read from a different Koran where it is OK to hate/attack Jews? Perhaps they follow a different version of Mohammad's past re his waring/hate...? I don't know.
