    Good luck...
And those who believe and do good works and believe in that which is revealed to Muhammad, and it is the truth from their Lord, He removes from them their ill-deeds and improves their state. (47:2)

And indeed, this (Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds,
Which the Trusted Spirit has descended with,
Upon your heart, that you may warn,
    In clear Arabic language,
And indeed, it is in the Scriptures of the ancients.
And is it not a sign for them that the learned ones of the Israelites know it? (26:192-197)

والذين ءامنوا وعملوا الصلحت وءامنوا بما نزل
على محمد وهو الحق من ربهم كفر عنهم
    سيءاتهم وأصلح بالهم

47.2 And whom they believed and they did the righteous deeds, and they believed on account of that which was sent down according to (the) Praised One, and He, the Truth, from their Lord, to forgive them of their evil, thou pay, and He did that which was good, right, or just (in) their heart.

The first thing that strikes us is that this ayah in sura 47 follows the same formula as that described in 103.3

Sura 103 (for those interested) demonstrates to us that Salvation is not through works – but instead, is attained in the belief in Jesus as God.

Sura 103 can be demonstrated to emanate entirely from the Book of Revelation – thus, it could be argued that 47.2 also has its genesis in the Book of Revelation, as well…

Following in that very same theme, we are told these startling things regarding “Muhammad” in 47.2:

    • The righteous believe on what was sent down by “Muhammad”
    • “Muhammad” is called “The truth” (alhaqqu) – which refers to only Jesus in the Koran
    • “Muhammad” forgives the righteous of their evil
    • “Muhammad” knows the heart of the righteous

Who fits the profile of the Koranic “Muhammad”….?

    The Biblical Jesus Christ.

But what is that "updating",is it explaining in modern understandable language,so its not really changed. Some are of opinion that the Quran, tho not changed is more often expressed/interprited in medieval way and medieval ways of looking at things.
Islam isnt for studying, its for living

selection of the language to speak Jesus depends on the region where they are currently living and which culture they adopt.Language of the jesus varies from region to region and from country to country. Here I want to share some fact about the spoke language of Jesus ...............
Jesus Christ, being a citizen of Judea, would have spoken Hebrew, Greek, and possibly Aramaic. Hebrew is the written and spoken language of Judea and the Old Testament is mainly written in this language.
Because the Greeks had conquered Judea about 200 years prior to Jesus' birth, Greek was the trade language of the region. The New Testament is written in Koine Greek, and is a good indication that there were two languages active in that time frame in that region. Archaeological evidence in burial sites shows that Hebrew was an active language of the time. He was the son of God he could speak any language he wanted to.

The language of all Palestinian Jews in the time of Jesus was Aramaic. Apart from this, Greek Koine was spoken throughout the eastern Roman Empire, except Greece, where more cultured Greek was spoken. Jews of the diaspora also spoke Greek, rather than Aramaic. Hebrew was definitely not a language of everyday use in the first century.
