    Default Hi everybody!

    AA,

Hi! So basically, I'm new here, obviously, or else I wouldn't be posting. Haha. Anyways, these are a pretty snazzy range of emoticons. I like 'em.

So yeah...I've been stalking these forums for quite a while now, and everybody here seems super-smart. I just joined cuz I was like, "Dudes, if I have questions, I can just ask here!" And I have a lot of questions. So yeah, you guys are like my go-to guys. 411. Etc.

Oh, but not creepy stalking, yeah? Mostly just, "Wow, I hope I know this much stuff about mutawattur and stuff when I'm old." Cuz honestly, I'd never even heard of mutawattur 'till I stumbled here. Honestly, they don't teach you anything in Islamic Studies. We didn't even read the Qur'an! All we learned about was Muhammad's (pbuh) life, which is cool and all, but really, what about after he died? Why do we just learn about the first four caliphs? I thought everyone was cool about them, but nooo, apparently there are like a gajillion codices that I had never heard about 'till I went on Christian apologetic sites (that's the worst way to learn about them, I swear), and I was like: Wow, I guess the Bible and the Qur'an aren't as different as I thought. It was really disappointing.

Anyways!!!!!!! I look forward to meeting you guys. And what's the difference between the emoticons on the right and the emoticons down at the bottom? What if I want more than one icon? Do I just suffer? Golly. That's not cool. < This guy's cute.

Anyway, sorry, yeah, hope all's well on whoever's reading this's side! Cheers.

welcome to the forum, I hope we can learn from you too.. !

The emoticons on the bottom are for Post Icons (eg- if you wanna give a thums up to a post, in your reply use the thums up icon), while the ones on the right are for within your message text.
Nine things the Lord has commanded me: Fear of God in private and in public; Justness, whether in anger or in calmness; Moderation in both poverty and affluence; That I should join hands with those who break away from me; And give to those who deprive me; And forgive those who wrong me; And that my silence should be meditation; And my words remembrance of God; And my vision keen observation.- Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

    Thanks Doc.

And haha, no, I didn't know what to call myself, and for some reason "sweet potatoes" popped into my head, so here we are.

I don't know...is that baseball? I don't watch baseball. I used to watch cricket but then it became way too depressing. All that PCB drama.

Are you a doctor? What kind? Does England have universal healthcare? I like London sort of. I like going to Foyle's. It has a ton of cool books. Like, honestly, I go to Foyle's and I find a million awesome books. I go to a bookstore here and for some reason I can only find dumb romance novels. I don't know how it works...

Edit: OHH, that's what an icon does...

I was referring to Toronto Blue Jays Base Ball team. When I visited Toronto they seem to have the same following as Manchester United foot ball club have in UK.

I did a 4 month locum in Newfi and loved Canada. Great people and superb scenary.

I am working as a family physician in UK.

    Best regards

Oh, haha, *some*one's knowledgeable about Canadian sports. Haha.

Oh!! That's so cool! I've never been to Newfoundland, but I hear it's gorgeous.

That's cool. For a field trip, I needed to write down our family physician, and I asked my mum, and she's like, "We don't have one..." :P I don't know if that's legal, haha.

Just throwing this out there: I had a sweet potato for the first time today! Someone offered me theirs during lunch because I kept on staring at it, haha. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! Like, it tasted like a healthy doughnut!! So yeah, now I'm gonna buy sweet potatoes.

In UK it becomes essential to be registered to a Family physician. children get their imms, people get their medicines, sick people sick notes etc. travel vaccines, smear tests. all sorts happen through us. Is it not the same in Canada? I worked at a hospital at Port Saunders ( Newfi) so I am not sure what the community set up is.

Er...maybe. I'm not sure, cuz we came from out of the country. I think kids probably have to get vaccinations and stuff, but yeah. :/ Sorry, I don't know.

Pretty lucky you loved it rather than finding it aweful, then youd be stuck with a name of a food you dont like .
