    Assalam Alekum Respected Brother.

I'll try to find the same hadith with simple words that will help people understand in a better way Inshallah.I just did'nt even think that this can be difficult for anyone to understand because every one knows that fasting in Ramadhan is Fardh while fasting in other months is Nafl.So there is no need to mention Muhammad SAW fast the whole month of Ramadhan but they are talking about other 11 months.

This would be more simple,i think.

A group of scholars, including Ibn al-Mubaarak and others, thought that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not fast all of Sha’baan, but he fasted most of it. This is supported by a report in Saheeh Muslim (no. 1954) narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), who said: “I never knew of him – meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) – fasting for any entire month apart from Ramadaan.” According to another report also narrated by Muslim (no. 1955), ‘Aa’ishah said: “I never saw him fast for any entire month from the time he came to Madeenah, apart from Ramadaan.”

    Jazakallahu Khyran for pointing out.

It is as Endymion has pointed out - actually English language is quite specific and there is sometimes loss in translation. In contrast, Semitic language (e.g.- Arabic) used suppression and other literary techniques. So it is already understood that it refers to fasting in the other 11 months, excluding Ramadan - very often the assumed or taken-for-granted terms are not employed in Arabic.

Such usage is even more apparent in the Quran, since the Quran was primarily an oration - i.e.- the Prophet (sws) recited it before the people, and they were well aware of the context of the verses and what was referred therein. This is why it is so important to determine in each passage of the Quran, that who is the primary addressee.

    Wassalam.
Nine things the Lord has commanded me: Fear of God in private and in public; Justness, whether in anger or in calmness; Moderation in both poverty and affluence; That I should join hands with those who break away from me; And give to those who deprive me; And forgive those who wrong me; And that my silence should be meditation; And my words remembrance of God; And my vision keen observation.- Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Umar ibn al-Khattab wrote in reply to him, "Whatever hardship befalls a believing slave, Allah will make an opening for him after it, and a hardship will not overcome two eases. 1. Abu Darda' ~ may Allah be pleased with him ~ related that the Holy Prophet ~ ~ said, " One who memorized the first ten verses of Suratul Kahf will be secure against the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) . Another version says: "One who commits to his memory the last 10 verses of this surah will remain immune from the Dajjal. [Muslim]

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I will be the leader of mankind on the Day of Resurrection. Do you know why that is? Allaah will gather mankind, the first and the last of them, in one place, so that the caller will be able to make them all hear his voice and the watcher will be able to see them all. The sun will be brought close and the people will suffer such distress and trouble that they will not be able to bear it or stand it. The people will say, ‘Don't you see in the state you are in and the condition you have reached? Why don't you look for someone who can intercede for you with your Lord?’ The people will say to one another: ‘Go to your father, Adam.’ So they will go to Adam (peace be upon him) … I will go and prostrate beneath the Throne. Then I will be given words of praise such have never been given to anyone before me, then it will be said, ‘O Muhammad! Raise your head; ask, for it will be given to you, and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.’ I will raise my head and say, ‘My ummah, O lord! My ummah, O Lord!’ It will be said, ‘O Muhammad, admit from among your ummah those who will not be brought to account from the right-hand gate of Paradise, and they will share the other gates with the people.’ He said, By the One in Whose hand is my soul, the distance between two of the gate-posts is like the distance between Makkah and Humayr, or between Makkah and Busra.”

    (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4712)

"The Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) said, `Whoever had three daughters and showed patience in their keeping, their pleasure and displeasure, Allah admits him to Paradise for his mercy over them. A man asked, `And what about two daughters, O Messenger of Allah? He said, `And two daughters as well." Another asked, `O Messenger of Allah, what about one daughter?" He said, `And one daughter as well". [ Transmitted and its authority amended by Al-Hakim, agreed upon by Al-Zahaby, 4/176] Ibn `Abbas recounted, "Whoever had a female who was not buried nor insulted by him, and had not preferred his male children to her, Allah admits him to Paradise. Narrated Abu Huraira:-

    Allah's Apostle
(salla lahu alayhe wa salaam) said:-

Allah{ Azza Wa Jall } said:-

'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine.
And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory)
    till I Love him,

so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears,

and his sense of sight with which he sees,
and his hand with which he grips,

    and his leg with which he walks;

and if he asks Me, I will give him,

and if he asks My protection (Refuge), I will protect him; (i.e. give him My Refuge)

and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer,
for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him."

    Suhaib reported that :-

    Allah's Messenger
    {Peace Be Upon Him} said:-
"It is remarkable that everything turns out well for a Believer !
    {while that applies only to a Believer.}
    If Happiness befalls him,
he gives Thanks and it turns out well for him.
and if Misfortune befalls him, he shows Endurance (patience) and it turns out well for him.

Al-Tirmidhi from Abu Hurayrah, who said:-
“The Messenger of Allaah(sallallaahu alayhi wa sallaam) said:-

“There is no man who prays to Allaah and makes 'Duaa' to Him,

and does not receive a response.

#1/ Either it will be hastened for him in this world,
    or

#2/ It will be stored up for him in the Hereafter,

so long as he does not pray for something sinful,
or to cut the ties of kinship,or seek a speedy response.”
    They said:-
    ‘O Messenger of Allaah,
what does seeking a speedy response mean?’
    He said:-
‘Saying, “I prayed to my Lord and He did not answer me.”
