BUG Details

When posting information concerning a possible BUG in the system, please remember to include full details about your system setup (platform, browsers including version numbers etc), as well as any pertinent error messages.

Understanding Your Problem

The first step in getting help solving your problem is defining it so others can understand it. Describe your question or problem in terms of what you're trying to do with the application's features. This will state your question in common language that other participants can understand. Using the terms used in the application will be helpful. For instance, if you are asking about changing a template, ask using the word template instead saying, "How do I change the graphics or look".

Giving Enough Information

Just saying something "doesn't work" is rarely enough information. Avoid giving people guesswork by including an exact step-by-step procedure others may follow to re-create from scratch what you are experiencing. Try to include:

  • The steps needed for someone else to be able to reproduce the same results.
  • What the expected results were, and what happened instead.
  • Any alternatives you've tried.
  • Results of any tests you performed.
  • Whether this is happening in all, or some cases.
