I tell you truly, though you think it a paradox,
IT IS BOTH !!!
God is outside of the construct of time, He is therefore not affected by it.
I find God to have a profound sense of humor. Everythign is terribly simple yet terribly complex. Its all so confusing, and yet it makes perfect sense.
God does indeed create the vessel/tent (us..each human) as God intends for us to be (predetermined), this is based upon the portion of spirit (His breath of life, the soul) which God intends to provide to us before we come into this "alternate reality - the stage of life on earth". Our life & capabilities God provided to each of us then becomes the coin jesus talks about in the parable of the 10 coins/or talents. What we do with that coin (our free will) then determines the outcome, and defines "WHO WE ARE SPIRITUALLY".
God then knows the outcome already, for God made you, and God is outside of time. But even to the ones God set aginst Himself, know that this is for the purpose which is always only for glorifying and establishing what is right and good and true...God. And these who sets against himself, are not necessarily lost to the fire, only God truly knows their heart, and perhaps the very soul inside them may be wretching at what is truly beyond its ability to suppress or overcome due to the will of God to establish His kingdom, and the vessel wereby with which he placed you inside. Who can overcome sin without help from God ? Nobody.
God knows what we do not know, and always will.
