Assalamu 'alaikum
Perhaps it would be a good idea to add a gender field? It would certainly help when replying to posts as you are aware whether you are addressing a male or female.

I doubt this will be taken seriously. No real need of this has been felt. Also, some may prefer not to mention that. Lastly, in most cases one comes to know sooner or later whether it's a guy or girl

Jazakallah khair for your reply..
Also, some may prefer not to mention that.
It would be optional, so those who do not wish to disclose their gender will not be obliged to. as implemented on other forums.

Salam Haroon,
And how has your stance towards Vaj changed due to any percieved gender?

Asallama Alaikum agree 100% seriously :)(don't want people addressing me as a brother).Since when did Shukri become a guy's name?Somehow Shukriya is the female version   :confused:Next don't be surprised if they mistake you as a sister   :p

I'm in full agreement with Vinod and Ratatosk. There is no need of 'gender hack'. One of the risk might happen that one could pre occupy his/her mind when knowing member's gender. This happens especially with females.
One may wants reputation power to be shown or gmail account hacks under the nicks. Although, there are hundreds of interesting hacks in vBulletun, but I remember once brother Vinod said that to be simple is the mantra of this forum and I go this way.

Salam,
Since when did Shukri become a guy's name?
I guess since the word was created. It means thankful/grateful (male). Shukriya is the female expression. Or maybe you'll like Shakira :)

Oh well, I guess I should have stayed quiet...
I have another suggestion, save your sighs :D
While going through some old threads, I noticed members have gone back and deleted their posts, this has ruined the discussion and in some cases it looks like members are talking to themselves. Maybe you should have a time limit, as to how long someone has to edit/delete their post, afterwhich they are unable to do so..
