Dont u?

Today something amazing happened! Usually i leave the house, and i have my lower garment above my ankles, via the sunnah right? Well! Today i didnt! And a cat came up to me and started to rub itself against my legs, and did so for about 5 mins! It was only then, i realised i had it below the ankles, so i lifted it up and suddenly the cat ran off, and didnt look back once! Talk about miracles hey:p?

You may want to readup the main page for an alternate and interesting view of the practice of keeping pants above ankles.
You'll probably endup at the discussion going on in the "eating with hands" section

Salam Sheikh Haroon,

If by alternative u mean a condemnation
Is everything that is a different understanding from yours condemnation? Can't people disagree without the "condemnation?"

Greetings everyone...

felines are quite remarkable creatures! i've literally spent days simply following the cats around the house and observing them.

yes, i'm fully aware of how my observation actually changes what i'm observing, but let's leave aside the QM implications for a moment :)

domestic felines are different from their undomesticated cousins, though they have quite a few common traits.

eh... i'm an animal adovcate... i'm strongly compassionate towards them all :)

Salaam Ronnie sahib,

Is everything that is a different understanding from yours condemnation?

That is merely ur own interpretation of what ive said, my friend. And the simple answer is "of course not", id also add "dont be silly" but that may seem a tad bit rude.

Im sure they can, my friend. But something in your private ear, Ronnie. I had written that above comment to see who would be the first to speak against it, amusing yet slightly shocking, i hadnt really expected u to, so quickly at least. What makes u think im thinking the way i "am"?

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't give an interpretation I asked a question, that's all. Maybe it's silly but you've mentioned several times so I just wanted to make sure.

I don't see the point in trying to test people. I've already told you I don't think you're the "extremist" you make yourself out to be :) It was merely a question, you don't have to dig too deep no underlying feelings here. I didn't know why you wrote what you did so I asked not because I have a preconceived notion about you nor to I know why you think whatever you think. Had I known you were trying to lure people I would've said that it wasn't nice :)

Regards

P.S. I love cats...especially panthers ;)

I really love cats. My fiancee is currently training to be a vet nurse and we're both animal lovers. We got our first cat in December last year, unfortunately he got run over. But we now have two cats, a beautiful siver tabby named Cookie, and a gorgeous red burmese named Monty. I just love having them around the house, especially when they snuggle up to me at night.
