Salaam to all. I come here searching for answers to my universe. I have a belief in some kind of Creator. Pretty much after that, its all up in the air. I see many of the great parts of Islam, yet, there are parts of me that wonder if I would be strong enough to give up certain things in my life.

Wa Alaikum Assalam

Islam, as revealed to and practiced by the Prophet Muhammed (S.A) has everything which ultimately benefits it's followers. However there are many cultural aspects and customs which have inevitably got mixed with what many perceive as parts of religion. It is a very important distinction and one which a convert must know about. For instance, Islam and Hadith guide a woman to dress modestly covering her body primarily to avoid attracting undue attention and helping her get along with whatever she needs to do. However wearing a black burqa is a cultural practice, which many women do (and there is nothing wrong with that either). The distinction is that Islam does not command you to wear a black burqa, it's a cultural practice. This is one example, there are several several others. Islam's guidelines are for what is best for an individual, hence there are required, recommended but not mandatory, allowed, allowed but disliked, forbidden categories. So do not judge Islam from what you hear in the media or from arm chair intellectuals... inshallah Allah will guide you to whatever is best for you...

Bro! life is about the choices we make. It defines who we are. What is important for you what is right or what is easy and more socially acceptable. Your choice determines where you stand.

If there are any issues about Islam that you will like to be clarified then please bring them up and we will try to answer them with our limited and humble capabilities.

You need to ask yourselves the following questions

1. Is there a Creator

2. If so is there accountability after death

3. What is the purpose of this life?

4. Which religion is right and why?

5. What is the price of deliberately denying the truth
